Over the last 10 years we have been instructed by Sportsdirect to provide a variety of services including dilapidations, condition records and pre-lease surveys.

There are often different types of properties to consider, ranging from warehousing to listed retail premises. We therefore always ensure that we understand what is important to the client for each instruction so that our reports and advice are tailored.

Frequently, premises are fitted out to previous occupiers’ specifications, so it is important to assess the level of reinstatement required at the end of the lease term. This is often not fully considered by occupiers and this can have a huge impact on a dilapidations claim, so we aim to ensure the client fully understands this through our advice.
