We’re pleased to announce the appointment of Delwyn Jones as a Director, who will join our Neighbourly Matters team in the North West region.

Based across our Liverpool and Manchester offices, Delwyn will work predominantly with developers in the North of the UK, as well assisting clients with UK wide portfolios. He brings with him significant specialist experience in neighbourly matters surrounding large and complex city centre developments.

This includes expertise in rights to light, party wall matters, voluntary negotiation of development rights, CPO interfaces and daylight and sunlight impacts. He has previously chaired the Building Surveying Faculty of the RICS in the North West, as well as the organisations Pyramus & Thisbe Society in the region.

Ian McKenna, Head of Hollis’ neighbourly matters service, says: “Delwyn brings with him a great deal of expertise and knowledge, together with a substantial network, which will be of real benefit to our clients. With a national agenda focussed on breathing new life into the UK’s city and town centres, especially in the North of England, his knowledge of how to mitigate the costly delays caused by neighbourly disputes will aid the smooth delivery of complex projects. Delwyn’s near-unrivalled knowledge will not only help us enhance and grow our Neighbourly Matters service in the north, but it will also help us build and train an expanding team of experts for the benefit of our clients.”
