MIPIM 2025 is fast approaching.

This year we’re focussing on how our one team, and four consultancies are driving excellence across regions, leading with sustainability, expanding in key sectors, maximising asset value, innovating through technology and growing our European presence.

We’re excited to return with a great lineup of events, and we’re pulling out all the stops with an even bigger and better offering and a new stunning rooftop, a focal point for us to network and share industry insights with our friends old and new.

Join us in Cannes and check out our events programme to see what we’ve got planned.

Monitoring market trends with our expertise

As market leaders, we provide comprehensive expertise throughout the project cycle, having surveyed over 4,656 properties last year through our four consultancies: Development & Project Management, Buy & Sell, Lease & Occupy, and Sustainability & Innovation.

Across these core areas, we ensure to keep our finger on the pulse, keeping on top of the latest trends and insights driving meaningful growth within the industry.

By observation, the market is currently performing well; this is partly due to government investment and crucial announcements, which are beginning to bolster market confidence. We’re seeing lots of activity in several key sectors, including building and fire safety, ESG and life sciences.

In building safety we’re managing projects with a construction value of £320m led by Dr. Benjamin Ralph, and our life sciences team has £250m worth of new projects in the pipeline – presenting significant value and exciting prospects.

Sustainability is at the core of our operations, with a full array of services including ESG due diligence, net zero carbon pathways, climate risk assessments, and certifications. Additionally, the student accommodation sector continues to be an important part of our business, accounting for 10% of our business.

Our improved offering and enhanced growth

We’ve experienced some significant changes at leadership level, with Andy Hay joining us last year as CEO; he’ll be attending his first ever MIPIM with Hollis this year along with the wider team. Andy brings extensive knowledge on the European market as he focuses on expanding within our regions, exploring cross-border opportunities, and growing our presence in the EU.

We’ve recently launched our new development management service, headed by Sarah Trahair-Williams, and it’s proving to be successful. This end-to-end service is designed to help our clients maximise the value of their assets through repurposing or refurbishments, while considering market sensitivities and different use cases earlier in the pre-acquisition process.

We’re also pleased to have Nathan Hooper, Head of Hotels and Residential, leading our growth and diversification into the residential sector, his efforts are already showing promising results.

Innovation through technology is a key driver for our conversations. We’re developing HollisEngage, our innovative client portal that provides seamless access to all assets in one place – this product aims to improve transparency and ease for our clients.

Our team is stronger than ever, and we’re excited to have 15 Hollis leaders attending this year. To stay ahead of industry trends, we’ve invested in upskilling our engineers and project managers enhancing collaboration with our ESG teams. This holistic approach ensures assets are optimised or repositioned to prevent them from becoming stranded, keeping us at the forefront of industry developments.

Looking forward to seeing you there!

We’ve achieved and accomplished a lot this past year and we’re gearing up to dive into the opportunities that lie ahead within the markets, sectors and regions we operate.

We’re eager to welcome our clients and friends to our programme of All Together Different events while we discuss key topics and admire the view in sunny Cannes.

Stay tuned for more exciting developments as we approach MIPIM 2025.
