- With a background in client-side project management, Sarah has 10 years of experience delivering major developments across a variety of sectors to maximise value and strategic outcomes.
I love helping clients to really get the best value from either an existing asset or a new acquisition. My role is strategic, thinking where to invest, who to invest with, how to make a site (or sites) really come to life in a new way to create value, then building the team and delivering the business plan. You can’t beat the excitement of acquiring a new site, securing funding, getting leases over the line – all of which are often after many days spent with lawyers in negotiations – and then seeing the occupants joy when they get into the newly crafted space. I’ve moved from being a QS, into consultancy project management, before moving into development with both a large funder as backing and more recently private equity. My role has evolved through the years but has always had a commercial and technical grounding. I see the industry and my own future being really focused on repurposing existing assets rather than demolition and new build with the most heavily used phrase soon to be ‘how do we sweat the asset’.
