Hollis has announced its third director-level appointment this month, with Amir Gadwah appointed to further bolster its Project management team in London, as the firm continues to strengthen its capability across complex, high-value developments.

Chartered Project management surveyor Amir brings over 30 years of experience in the construction industry, with a track record in the initiation, leadership and delivery of major projects across commercial, residential, regeneration and sports sectors. He joins from Dendy Byrne, where he advised on a range of high-profile schemes, including the £70m retrofit of 10 Piccadilly for The Crown Estate, new film studios for Amazon and the refurbishment of the Norwegian Embassy.

Prior to this, Amir spent eight years at CBRE, where he led and grew the Master Planning and Strategic Sites team into a multi-sector offer, managing both office-based and site teams. Amir was involved with major projects such as the award winning £240m residential tower scheme One Crown Place and the £100m redevelopment of The Earnshaw for Royal London. His earlier career includes senior roles at Deloitte Real Estate, Chesterton and Cluttons.

At Hollis, Amir will lead a growing team delivering complex project and programme management across sectors, providing strategic advice to clients and overseeing projects from feasibility through to delivery and close-out. His experience spans a wide range of procurement routes and includes managing mission-critical projects requiring phased occupation and operational continuity.

William Horsthuis, Director at Hollis, said, “Amir is a highly respected senior project director with an exceptional breadth of experience across sectors and asset types. His ability to lead complex programmes while maintaining a clear focus on client outcomes makes him a fantastic addition to the team. As demand for integrated, multi-disciplinary advice continues to grow, Amir will play a key role in strengthening our project management offer and supporting clients to deliver with confidence.”

Amir Gadwah added, “I’m delighted to be joining Hollis at a time of real momentum for the business. With more than 30 years’ experience delivering projects across the property sector, I’m looking forward to bringing that experience to further strengthen Hollis’ project management capability and broaden the value we offer clients. Successful project delivery is about more than programme and cost control;  it’s about understanding clients’ ambitions, solving problems early, and leading teams to achieve the right outcome. Hollis has a strong reputation for quality and technical excellence, and I’m excited to help build on that as we continue to grow.”

Known for his collaborative and personable approach, Amir has built a reputation for leading high-performing teams and delivering challenging programmes of work. His experience across feasibility, procurement, delivery and handover ensures clients benefit from clear, commercially focused advice at every stage of the project lifecycle.

His appointment reflects Hollis’ continued investment in senior talent to support clients in navigating increasingly complex development challenges and delivering successful outcomes across the built environment.
