In my job, I’m proud to be able to give people the tools to make real, positive changes in their lives. Perhaps the most pertinent example over the last few years has been the enthusiasm with which our entire work force has embraced our culture of openness around mental health. We have provided the platform, the knowledge and the awareness for people to understand myths and misconceptions about what mental illness is, as well as giving managers the tools and skills to have open conversations. People have shared their own stories with selflessness and as a result we have been able to help and support others to better mental health.
