Tom Pugh, Partner and Measured Surveys Specialist, recently supported a Guinness World Record attempt by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), by measuring a record-breaking line of instant photos. The attempt was arranged to celebrate the 150th birthday of the professional body.
The ‘longest line of instant photographs’ is a feat never-before attempted. Around 40 RICS offices worked together to gather over 5,000 images in total, all done with instant analog cameras. The photos were then collected at their London office and pegged on a continuous line. The photos were counted by two independent witnesses, before Tom Pugh began the official measurement process.
