Carl Sablon, Barney Soanes-Cundle, Rob Asquith and Will Horsthuis proved that Hollis’ snow skills are just as formidable as our surveying skills at this year’s Propski in Chamonix.
Propski 2020 was all about coming together as a team: four of our building surveyors from Milton Keynes, Manchester, Newcastle and London gathered for the premier skiing event of the property calendar.
Upon arrival in France, the team attended welcome drinks and evening entertainment hosted by U+I and EG at the fabulous Folie Douce hotel.
A few sore heads and Barney’s forgotten lift pass, meant the second day got off to a slow start, but the team really enjoyed the beautiful Brevent range accompanied by members of the Palace Capital team, with a full day skiing and a hearty mountain lunch.
On the third day, we hosted a dinner, inviting clients and property connections to enjoy an evening of good food and company.
Moving next to Le Tour and Les Houches for glorious ski conditions, we took part in a mountain challenge and treasure hunt. A great achievement, Carl Sablon obtained a podium finish for his snowboarding skills in the McDonald’s men’s race.
The team attended a variety of events throughout the remainder of the week, building good relationships with Turley, NJL Consulting, IV Real Estate, Palace Capital, Barwood Capital, McDonald’s Restaurants, On Architecture, Opera and Mileway, amongst others.
Propski is a truly unique event with its own atmosphere and sense of togetherness. The mountain air, fresh snow and combined love of all things downhill makes for a professional networking environment like no other.
Hollis had another successful year at Propski 2020 and thank the organisers for another fantastic event.
