05 September is the 2025 International Day of Charity – a day to celebrate and encourage acts of charitable giving across the world. But at Hollis, giving back isn’t reserved for just one day. It’s a year-round commitment that runs through everything we do, from fundraising and volunteering to pro bono work and strategic partnerships.

In May, we announced The Brain Tumour Charity as our Charity of the Year 2025/26, chosen in honour of our Founding Partner, John Woodman. Our first fundraiser – a hike along the Suffolk Coast – was a powerful start (with over £2500 raised so far) and a reminder that every step we take together can change lives.

On this day (05 September), some of #TeamHollis are taking on a 28-mile hike along the Breck’s Trail in Suffolk in memory of our late colleague Dan. It’s a big challenge – physically and emotionally – and a meaningful way to raise vital funds and awareness for PAPYRUS, a charity dedicated to the prevention of young suicide in the UK. If you’d like to support the team, you can donate here.

Alongside these fundraising efforts, we’ve proudly supported LandAid for over 12 years, raising £178,000 to date. As Regional Board Members and Cornerstone Partners, we back their mission to end youth homelessness through annual contributions and active involvement in events across the property sector.

Looking ahead, our legendary festive campaign is back by popular demand where The Brain Tumour Charity is built into the heart of the campaign. It’s a celebration of joy, generosity and purpose, wrapped in warmth and woven with care – stay tuned for more!

Giving back is more than a campaign – it’s a culture. Whether it’s through payroll giving, CSR programmes like Urban Plan and Pathways to Property or simply showing up for one another, we believe in doing what we can to support those who need it most.

Keep an eye out for updates on our fundraising activities and upcoming events. Whether you’re donating, volunteering or simply spreading the word, your support helps us move further and faster in helping others.
