Hollis appoints Director to head Newcastle office

Hollis has announced the appointment of Steve Knight as director and head of its Newcastle office, strengthening the firm’s presence in the North East.

Steve joins Hollis from Cluttons, where he was a partner in the project building consultancy practice in Newcastle. In his 25-year career, since leaving the armed forces, he has become an experienced chartered surveyor and  has held senior roles across the built environment, including leading building surveying and infrastructure teams, creating new delivery functions and managing complex, safety critical projects. His experience spans dilapidations, expert witness, commercial property, redevelopment, technical due diligence, infrastructure and building safety.

Steve said:
“Hollis has a strong reputation for technical excellence and collaboration, and the opportunity to lead and grow the Newcastle office was a compelling one. I’m looking forward to building on the existing strengths of the business in the region, growing Hollis’ expertise in telecoms infrastructure and supporting our clients through complex challenges and developing the capabilities of the local team.”

Hollis’ director and North Region lead Dan Roberts said:
“Steve is an excellent addition to our leadership team. He brings deep technical knowledge, proven experience of growing teams and a strong understanding of the North East market. His appointment reflects our continued investment in regional leadership and our commitment to providing high quality, joined up advice to clients.”

His appointment reflects Hollis’ continued investment in hiring senior talent to help clients navigate increasingly complex regulatory challenges and deliver successful outcomes across the built environment.
