As we come to the end of our fundraising year, we’re proud to share that we raised an incredible  £10,007 + Gift Aid with help from our teams, clients, partners and network.

The Brain Tumour Charity is the world’s leading brain tumour charity and the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally and our partnership was exceptionally close to our hearts following the diagnosis of our Founding Partner, John Woodman.

Throughout the year, we fundraised in a variety of ways from walks and bake sales to quizzes and our annual festive campaign. Each activity played a part in raising both funds and awareness for a cause that affects so many individuals and families.

Reflecting on our impact

We’re incredibly proud of the collective effort shown across the business and want to thank everyone who took part, donated, organised events or supported from behind the scenes. Your generosity and commitment made a real difference.

Our Founding Partner, John Woodman, commented:

“This year’s partnership with The Brain Tumour Charity has meant a great deal to me personally. I’ve been closely involved with the charity for some time, and over the past two years we’ve raised funds in many different ways – from my son running the London Marathon to mountain climbs including Everest in the Alps. Together, including Hollis’ support, these efforts have raised around £500,000, which I’m incredibly proud of.

For around 30 years, treatment options for brain tumours changed very little and often with limited success. That is now starting to shift, and I genuinely believe the next ten years will look very different.

The Brain Tumour Charity’s work is exceptional, not just in research but in the vital support it provides to individuals and families, and in helping shine a light on a cause that affects so many people. I’m hugely grateful to everyone who has played a part.”

Sally King, Corporate Partnerships Manager at The Brain Tumour Charity, commented:

“We are incredibly grateful to Hollis for their fantastic support and dedication in raising over £10,000 for The Brain Tumour Charity over the past year. This significant contribution fuels our work to defeat brain tumours and has made a real difference to the lives of thousands affected by a brain tumour.

To put this amount into context, £10,000 could help fund over 1 month of world class research into brain tumours to help us discover better treatments that ultimately save lives or £10,000 could help fund a first conversation with someone on our freephone support service for over 3,000 people- providing a life-line for people affected by a brain tumour when they need it  most.

Thanks to Hollis, we can support even more people in their darkest days and enable research into better treatments that will help everyone diagnosed live a longer, better life. ”

Looking ahead: Our Charity of the Year for 2026/27

As we look to the year ahead, we’re pleased to announce that our Charity of the Year for 2026/27 will be Sands.

Sands supports anyone affected by the death of a baby, works to improve bereavement care, and funds life‑saving research to help reduce the number of babies who die before, during or shortly after birth. We’re proud to support a charity that provides compassion, understanding and hope to so many families.

We’ll be kicking off our fundraising for Sands with a Snowdon hike in June, bringing colleagues together for a meaningful challenge. Stay tuned to see how they get on.

A huge thank you once again to our Charity of the Year group, whose dedication and organisation continue to be instrumental in everything we achieve.

We’re looking forward to the year ahead and to continuing to make a meaningful impact together!
