Neighbourly Matters Rights of Light |
We advised Muse Developments on Rights of Light for the New Victoria scheme in Manchester, a 520-home BTR and office development, delivering due diligence, risk advice and neighbour negotiations to mitigate development risk.
Our client's vision was to deliver a mixed-use development, comprising 520 Build to Rent residential apartments and an office building, on an under-utilised surface car park located in Manchester city centre, adjacent to Victoria Station.
During our involvement we completed thorough due diligence on the various scheme designs as they came forward, as well as detailed technical reports to advise Muse on potential risks for the development and strategies to mitigate those risks. We also worked closely with Muse to broker agreements through detailed negotiations with the owners of neighbouring land.
