The Hollis Manchester team relocated to another floor within the same building in the city centre. We project managed the Cat A and Cat B refurbishment works and the fit-out achieved a BREEAM ‘excellent’ rating.

The building is of 1960’s construction and therefore presented a range of limitations for our sustainability specialists to overcome, especially when compared to working on a new-build office building that has already been constructed to achieve BREEAM compliance. These included solar shading issues, M&E replacement, indoor air quality and acoustic testing.

We also provided dilapidations advice to the landlord relating to the outgoing tenant and M&E advice in respect of the new replacement landlord heating and cooling to the floor.
