Alistair Cooper
Director
Dilapidations
Hollis, one of the UK’s largest real estate consultancies, is pleased to announce the appointment of Alistair Cooper as a director and head of its dilapidations service.
Alistair brings over 18 years of experience and is well regarded in the industry as a leading authority in dilapidations. As well as his specialism in dilapidations, he also has experience in technical due diligence, contract administration, party walls, rights of light, and planned maintenance sectors.
Hollis has been regarded as a market leader in dilapidations for over 30 years and has been involved in settling some of the largest claims in the UK market, representing both landlords and tenants.
Alistair joins from Lambert Smith Hampton, where he was a director and head of building consultancy for London. Along with sitting on a number of industry advisory bodies, he also serves as an APC Supervisor, Counsellor, and Assessor.
Hollis CEO, Andy Hay, says: “Hollis has a long history of being at the forefront of dilapidations expertise. As the industry has evolved, so has the role dilapidations claims play in key lease lifecycle moments. Alistair’s experience of settling multi-million pound claims, along with his understanding of technical due diligence, neighbourly matters and planned maintenance will support our team in providing commercially minded dilapidations advice. He joins a team that is already highly respected in the industry.”
