Malcolm Hollis is thrilled to announce that we have been shortlisted at the Insider North East Property Awards in the Specialist Property Consultancy of the Year category, whilst our Senior Associate Philip Hirst has made the Emerging Property Person of the Year shortlist.

These awards are designed to recognise and reward those firms and individuals from the North East property sector that have been involved in some of the best developments and deals of the last twelve months.

Philip Hirst is recognised as an expert in dilapidations and due diligence, and an ambassador for the North East, both at Malcolm Hollis and within the property industry. He is passionate about his work, helping and mentoring others to succeed and promoting the surveying industry, which is why he is an RICS Inspire Schools ambassador, an APC Supervisor and part of the RICS Matrics Committee. Phil is also a tremendous advocate for sustainability across all projects, he implemented a system that we use across the company to recycle unused project materials that would have otherwise ended up in a landfill. This system has even filtered through to clients and contractors.

David Cox, Partner, Newcastle commented: “This is a great achievement for Malcolm Hollis and for Phil who is not only great at what he does but also a humble and conscientious person, always willing to lend a hand if someone needs it. He is a huge part of our success in the North East and we wish him the best of luck!”

The winners will be announced at the ceremony taking place at the Hilton Newcastle Gateshead on 23 May 2019. You can view the full shortlist here.
