Malcolm Hollis is extending our client offering with the launch of a dedicated Building Defects service.

Headed up by Senior Associate Richard Hunt, the service will see Malcolm Hollis using our expert knowledge of design, construction, and investigation together with innovative technology and specialist consultants, to identify and solve building defects as robustly and cost effectively as possible.

The service covers all manner of building defects whether they be associated with new-build design and construction or general building deterioration or system failure owing to age and/or lack of maintenance, and includes expert work associated with dispute resolution.

The new offering dovetails our other client services and comes as part of Malcolm Hollis’ ongoing pursuit to create a comprehensive surveying solution for our clients.

Richard has been with Malcolm Hollis for over four years and has extensive experience in the retail, commercial and industrial sectors. He is an expert in building defects, technical due diligence, project management, and party wall matters, and is based at our Bristol office.
