Malcolm Hollis is proud to announce that Associate, Michael Beatty, has been shortlisted in the Made in Manchester Awards 2019 in the Property Professional of the Year category. The event celebrates the best of Manchester’s young business talent aged up to the age of 35.

Michael joined Malcolm Hollis in Manchester as a graduate building surveyor in 2011, rising through a series of promotions to Associate in 2016. He is a key member of the Malcolm Hollis team. His contribution to the success of the Manchester office over the last seven years has been pivotal to the dramatic growth of our turnover, team numbers and presence in the region. Michael has a solid grounding in all aspects of commercial building surveying but, seeing an opportunity for growth and a lack of specialists in Manchester, Michael decided to focus on the technically and commercially challenging field of Rights of Light and Daylight and Sunlight. He is a driving force behind both the growth of the service and the growth of both his own profile and that of Malcolm Hollis as a whole in this specialist area. Today, Michael is the youngest and one of the most visible experts in this niche field in the North West. He oversees our services not only across Manchester but also covers Birmingham, Newcastle, Leeds, Liverpool, Belfast and Dublin. He is the first point of contact to a number of high profile developers, architects, PMs, planning consultants, etc., both regionally and in London including Muse Developments, Ask Developments, Scarborough Developments, Kier Property and Urban Splash. Michael is also a LandAid Ambassador.

Congratulations to Michael on this great achievement and everyone else shortlisted.

The winners will be announced at the ceremony on 07 February 2019 at the Point, Lancashire Cricket Club.
