Hollis is pleased to announce 47 promotions across the business as of May 2020. These promotions are testament to our people’s hard work and commitment to achieving the best results for our clients, which has enabled Hollis to go from strength to strength over the years.

Our two new Partners are…
Richard Wyn Morris from our Birmingham office, joined Hollis in 2013 as a Chartered Building Surveyor, and has quickly risen through the ranks. Richard specialises in commercial project services (industrial, office and retail), with project values ranging from £50,000 to £3.5m, as well as health and safety services and development monitoring. He is also a qualified RICS APC Assessor and an APC Mentor.
Ross Powell joined Hollis in 2005 as a Building Surveyor in Birmingham and then relocated to Cardiff in 2009. Ross is now responsible for managing the Cardiff team and specialises in dilapidations, technical due diligence and projects. He works with clients including M7 and LaSalle Investment Management. Ross is one of many Partners who joined the business as graduates and now sit at Partner level.

Adam Lowther and Jon Carruthers from our M&E team. Adam is based in Dublin and is an expert in M&E design, tendering and monitoring of installations. Jon from our London office specialises in maintenance management and technical due diligence work including investment, acquisition and vendor’s surveys.
Ben Murphy from Manchester joined Hollis in 2015 and has been in the industry for over 10 years. He began his surveying career providing core quantity surveying duties but has specialised over the last five years in development monitoring on behalf of a range of banks, funds and other lenders.

Barney Soanes-Cundle and James Clark from our Manchester office. Barney is a Neighbourly Matters Specialist, covering rights of light, daylight, sunlight and overshadowing. James has experience in all core areas of commercial building surveying, including technical due diligence, defects analysis and contract administration.
Kevin Howes, Lucy Taggart, Richard Skinnard, Steve Clarke and Will Horsthuis from our London offices. Kevin specialises in technical due diligence and works with clients such as Brockton Capital, Stanhope Pension Trust Limited and Ares. Lucy and Steve joined Hollis in 2019. Lucy specialises in rights of light, daylight, sunlight and overshadowing. Steve specialises in project management and contract administration across the office, industrial and healthcare sectors on projects ranging in value from £100,000 to over £2.5m. Richard and Will have been at Hollis since 2014 and both passed their APC in 2016. They specialise in dilapidations and project management.
Richard Sharpe in Birmingham, who specialises in dilapidations and project management and Rob Asquith from our Newcastle office, who joined Hollis in 2015. He passed his APC in 2017 and specialises in technical due diligence and project services.

Michelle Brooke is now Senior Client Relationship Manager, Rachael Stackhouse has been promoted to Senior Brand and Communications Manager and Sophie Loosemore to Senior Events Manager.
